REF:515030 Scale 1.500 Length 64mm Wingspan 68mm
This famous aircraft was the World's first jet airliner and introduced accessible air travel to the travelling public. The series IV was the last in the Comet series, but sadly was not a commercial success as the Boeing 707 and Douglas DC-8 became the first choice of airlines introducing jets into their fleets.
British Overseas Airways Corporation was a direct predecessor of British Airways. It was one of the most innovative and popular airlines of the 1950s and 60s. BOAC's Comet 4 began its scheduled operations from London to New York three weeks ahead of Pan Am with its Boeing 707.
All the die-cast aircraft from the Herpa Wings range are made to an exceptionally high standard, both in terms of the detailed Tampo printed liveries and the quality of the construction। Die-Cast-Collector is proud to be an official distributor of Herpa products.
